Ok, what you are looking at is a Father's Day card I made with a pocket for a gift card. I made a tag so that the gift card could be pulled out of the pocket. I pulled the card out partways so that you could see the tag and the "Dad" stamp. I was careful not to stick the tag to the magnetic strip although I did stick it directly to the gift card. I hope that when the gift card is used, Dad will just have to peel the tag off with any residual glue that may remain. Oh, and to keep in line with the images, the gift card is to one of his favorite restaurants.
The card measures 3.75x6.00 so I am going to have to make an envelope for it. I used TCP's "Commemorating You" stamp set with its adorable silhouettes. I also purchased the die so I was able to create these great little postage stamps.
I'll be the first to admit that making masculine cards is no easy task. At least for me. I really had a time trying to work out a color combination. That bright green may not be manly but the card is done and I am going to have to make myself happy with it. I think my dad will be ok with it.
Well, hope you find this card fun and interesting. TFL and have a great weekend.
